Welcome to K's Fanworks Studio.

I'm Karcy. This is where I'll be hosting my fan-related material. Most of my stuff is fanfiction, but I might experiment with fanart and other type of media in the future.

A bit about my writing style:
In general, I employ a very abstract style because I like to explore feelings, emotions and themes instead of narrative possibilities in canon. I think it was partly due to the conflation between my RL persona and my online, fun-dom persona. Part of the reason why I'm splitting them is to get back to writing stuff just for fun instead of worrying about every word dropped. And part of it is well, I'd like to get a hold of what it means to write a proper narrative.

So there will be a lot of abstract stuff because that's just my style, but I'll try to experiment with uhm, normal writing.

I also suck at making jokes.

What I think about canon and fanon:
I usually adhere to canon very strongly. There are a couple of times when I play around with ideas not explicitly stated or not even part of the author/creator's original intention, but I rarely stretch very far. Fanon (for those unitiated: fanon is fandom canon) rarely works for me. In the rare event that I do write something purely fanon (eg. Harry/Draco) it's usually because I'm testing the ropes for a particular writing exercise. But otherwise, I'm usually very canon-adherent.
